Piper Academy is the teaching academy of Piper Education. By using either website, the Piper Academy community on Skool, or any tool, guide or email we provide, you agree to these terms.
Everything we publish is education. It is not medical or dental advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it does not create a doctor and patient relationship between you and Dr. Mark Piper or anyone else at Piper Education. Nothing here replaces an examination by your own clinician. Decisions about your care belong to you and the clinicians who examine you.
We do not review individual patients' records, scans or treatment plans for diagnosis or treatment. Cases discussed in Piper Academy, including cases members bring to live sessions, are used to teach principles. Members remain fully responsible for the care of their own patients.
The Piper staging tool and the trauma history tools help you organize information and prepare questions for your clinician. A stage suggested by a tool is not a diagnosis. The stage of a joint can only be determined by imaging and examination.
You may read, print and share our pages for your own education and for the education of your patients, provided you credit Piper Education and do not change the content. You may not copy our content in bulk, sell it, republish it as your own, or use automated means to collect it.
The text, images, Anomalous Medical model images, videos, manuals, lectures, the Piper Classification and the Piper TMJ MRI Scan Protocol are owned by Dr. Mark Piper or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other law. Membership gives you a personal, nontransferable right to view the material while your membership is active. It does not transfer ownership, and it does not permit you to record, download, distribute or share course material or log in credentials.
Memberships are sold and managed through Skool, which processes payments, applies taxes and handles renewals under its own terms. Your first month is free and requires no card. Monthly membership renews each month and Annual membership renews each year at the rate you joined at, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time in your Skool account; access continues to the end of the period already paid. Prices for new members may change; a change never affects a rate you already hold while your membership remains active.
Monthly membership may be canceled at any time, and the current month is not refunded. Annual membership and the Legacy Foundational Curriculum are not refundable once purchased, because the complete manual and recorded material are delivered at once.
CE credit is offered separately, when approved, at the price shown at the time of purchase. Approval status is stated on the Curriculum page.
When you share a case in Piper Academy, remove every identifier: names, dates, faces, record numbers and anything else that could identify a patient. You are responsible for having the right to share what you post. We may remove any post at any time.
Be professional and respectful, follow the community rules, and do not post advertising or patient identifiers. We may suspend or remove a member who does not, without refund.
We link to journals, PubMed and other sites for reference. We are not responsible for their content.
The websites, tools and courses are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Piper Education and Dr. Mark Piper are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of them, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the websites after a change means you accept the updated terms.
